What’s On

In December 2025, Cosette Bolt – Forth Act Alumna, is bringing back her version of a Christmas Carol in conjunction with St Salvador’s & St David’s Episcopal Churches in Edinburgh. This abridged version of the story, adapted and directed by Cosette, and interspersed with carols, was first performed in December 2023 to very warm reviews and it once again will be staged as a fundraiser for the St Salvador’s Food Initiative, with monetary donations from the St David’s performances also going to Granton Foodbank.
With a few tweaks and a new cast bringing it to life, with some familiar Forth Act faces in there too, this beloved tale of redemption and connection is the perfect pre-Christmas warmer.

Our last production in June 2025 was Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare
After our successful run of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at Saughton Park in 2023, we initially said that that was a ‘one-off’, and that we wouldn’t be returning. However, we received so many requests to ‘do it again’, (plus we’d had so much fun) that it seemed natural that we should go back. So this summer we staged ‘Twelfth Night’, one of Shakespeare’s most enduring comedies.

It’s a tale of separated siblings, concealed identities, mischievous schemes and vengeful pranks, with more declarations of love than you could find in a Mills and Boon anthology – and most of them going to the wrong person! All set in motion by some of Shakespeare’s best loved characters including Viola, Olivia, Count Orsino, Malvolio, Feste, and Sir Toby Belch amongst many more.
