“I think the scratch nights were one of the most interesting things that The Forth Act has done so far. It was a kind of seed-bed idea, aimed at the wider performing arts community, pulling together writers, performers, musicians, poets, and the like, and giving them a space to test ideas in a safe environment. In one evening, each individual could be a creator, a performer, and a critic. It was always interesting, and occasionally brilliant.
Eilidh Smith was a brilliant MC on these evenings, holding everything together, and I really hope that there will be more of them in the future.”
