About us

We are an Edinburgh based community theatre group established in 2022. As a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) we are run by volunteer Trustees.

To bring drama into the community we use spaces familiar to people. We performed our first production, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in Saughton Park, followed by “A Christmas Carol” in St Salvador’s Scottish Episcopal Church in Saughton, and “Blithe Spirit” at the Siegfried Room at Napier University, Craiglockhart. For our most recent production we returned to Saughton Park in June 2025 for Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”

As we plan our future events we will post updates on our website. Keep an eye on our What’s On page for more information.

We actively engage with community groups across Edinburgh to provide opportunities to volunteer with us and we offer free tickets for those groups to increase access to theatre and to combat isolation and loneliness.

We perform in spaces that people use for other purposes such as local parks, and churches, to spark curiosity and encourage people who don’t usually come to the theatre to come along.

Our theatre company provide a safe space for people who want to perform and volunteer with us and we appreciate that people come with a mix of skills and experience. We show kindness and awareness of individual needs in our support and development of them. We have been especially successful at embracing the talents of older people and those with neurodiversity needs in all of our productions.

This has included Edinburgh Spiders whose volunteers made camouflage netting which graced our Midsummer Night’s Dream stage before heading to Ukraine, Vintage Vibes, North Edinburgh Community Shed, and Granton Goes Greener. Volunteers from SPLAT - Saughton Park Litter Action Team helped us with front-of-house duties at Saughton Park. We welcome enquiries about engaging and volunteering with us from individuals and community groups.
